Have We Lost Our Minds?

Have we lost our minds
It’s official. We have lost our minds. If we don’t bring some common sense to this madness, we will lose our country. The COVID-19/Wuhan Virus Reaction Disruption is wreaking havoc on our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor. Radio Show Host and author, Kim Monson, notes that we are moving to a tyrannical state, where neighbors snitch on neighbors, where we must have permission to move about and work, and where we are forbidden to go to Church to worship. It is time to engage in this Battle of Ideas raging in American today. Put on your thinking caps. Ask: What? Why? When? How? Where? and Who?

It’s official. We have lost our minds. If we don’t bring some common sense to this madness, we will lose our country. The COVID-19/Wuhan Virus Reaction Disruption is wreaking havoc on our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor.

When we first learned of this virus, it seemed prudent to take a “pause” to determine just what had escaped from the Wuhan Virology Lab in Wuhan, China. Stories of people dying in their apartments in Wuhan and pictures of body bags in Italy certainly indicated that there was real danger from this virus.

However, what began as a “Flatten the Curve pause” has become downright tyranny hiding behind the narrative of keeping you and me “safe.” These narratives do not make any sense. How can we be “alone together?” If “We’re all in this together,” why was there no toilet paper, no bleach and no paper towels at our local market early in this disruption?

These narratives are intended to frighten and divide us. As I was driving down I-25 I saw on the CDOT propaganda signs, formerly used for traffic updates, “Stay Home, Save a Life.” The underlying message is, “If you don’t stay home, you want to kill someone.” Really? Do you believe that?

The electronic propaganda signs in my hometown of Lone Tree, Colorado continue the divisive narrative. “Be a good neighbor” implies that if you do not wear face “coverings” you are a bad neighbor.

The Lone Tree mayor opined that it is a “privilege” for our businesses to open. Hold the phone, I thought it was in the United States Declaration of Independence that individuals have a God given right to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” But no, we must now ask our new overlords at public health departments if we can speak, move, assemble, work and live. When the mayor opined, “You don’t wear a mask to protect yourself, you wear a mask to protect your neighbor,” I realized that the narrative is off the rails. Common sense would indicate that if, in fact, face coverings were effective, then the one YOU are wearing will protect YOU. Just a note, science states that face coverings are 97% ineffective.

The media’s constant barrage of death totals and ventilator shortages have many everyday Americans scared out of their minds. These Americans are practically throwing our civil rights into the hands of willing despotic Politicians, Bureaucrats and Interested Parties (PBI’s). Rights such as the (1) free exercise of religion, (2) right to assemble, (3) the right to be secure in our persons, houses, papers and effects and (4) the right to Due Process. And it was recently reported and fact sourced that Colorado has been cooking the books by over 30% regarding the number of COVID 19 deaths. Why? There is federal money to be had for COVID 19 deaths. Plus, the inflated numbers give Gov. Polis cover to continue to limit and shut down our livelihoods.

I’ve watched with astonishment the establishment of snitch lines just like in Hitler’s Germany where people report their neighbors to authorities. Individuals who believe all the propaganda are capitulating to unelected, unaccountable, administrative bureaucracies shutting down our businesses and gatherings. This puts our peace officers in very difficult situations. A guy was given a citation, with a possible $999 fine and time in jail, for playing football in Wash Park. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, leftist, activist PBI’S are turning a blind eye to the destruction and defacing of property through non-social distancing protests and riots.

There is something even more dangerous around the corner. On May 1, 2020, H.R. 6666, the TRACE Act, was introduced into the United State House of Representatives proposing $100 billion in 2020 for contact tracing “through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences…” Recently Dr. Robert Levin, Health Director for the Ventura County, California health department, stated at a news conference that, “We’re not going to be able to keep that person in that home…We will be moving that person into other kinds of housing so that person can have their own bathroom.”

My friends, we are moving to a tyrannical state, where neighbors snitch on neighbors, where we must have permission to move about and work, where we are forbidden from going to Church to worship. This is madness. It is time to engage in this Battle of Ideas raging in American today. Put on your thinking caps. Ask, what, why, when, how, where and who? Engage in thoughtful and reasonable conversations with friends, family and colleagues. Write personal notes and call your city council members, mayors, county commissioners, state senators & representatives, the governor and health department bureaucrats. Stay informed.
