Economist Stephen Moore explains the real “green” in the green movement is your money. For at least the last twenty years, politicians in Washington, at the behest of green energy groups, have spent some $100 billion of taxpayer money to fight climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A recent AP report noted that CO2 emissions reached a record high in 2022. Spoiler alert. CO2 is plant food.

In spite of the US having spent ~$100 billion on climate change mitigation over the past 10-20 years, global carbon emissions were higher last year than at any other point in history. Moore’s latest piece, America’s $100 Billion Climate Change Flop, explores this in depth. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
