Lt. Col. Bill Rutledge (Ret. USAF) joins Kim to discuss Operation Downfall. Operation Downfall was a proposed plan to invade Japan, prior to the bombing. Operation Downfall classified documents were declassified in the early 2000s, which has shed new light on how close America came to following this path before the decision was made to use Atomic bombs.
