Paper Belt on Fire addresses the “higher education bubble” (ie, how kids are being pressured into pursuing higher education, then being saddled with lifelong debt). Colleges aren’t imparting skills – rather, they sort the labor market. Degrees are viewed as more valuable than the education, but this should be the other way around. Public schools in general are failing students. Listen to the full show in the first second hour.

Car Coach Lauren Fix shares updates on vehicle supply chain shortages. Cars are being made with cheaper/less components because the government keeps lowering the bar for vehicle quality standards. Troubled supply chains are also to blame for shortages (ie, tires have nearly doubled in price recently thanks to rubber shortages). Listen to the full interview in the first hour.
