The legacy of Columbus was tainted by some of the choices his crew made against the natives. In reality, Columbus’ discoveries helped bring order to America. Columbus was a Christian evangelist who grew up in a working class family, but his character and self-confidence brought him great success. His religious beliefs were the basis for his ambitions.
