Sixth generation farmer and rancher Trent Loos discusses the negative consequences of bad public policy to human flourishing. Biden is planning to run for reelection. Robert Kennedy Jr will also run as a Democrat. The Bureau of Land Management’s plans to manage the welfare of wild horses are being met with harsh criticism. Wild horses have been dying due to poor management by the government, which is expected to continue. Livestock such as pigs are being treated with experimental vaccines as a means of trojan horsing the vaccines into human beings. Elites are trying to instill fear in hopes of discouraging people from eating meat. Listen in the second hour.

PERA Q&A with Joshua Sharf

Senior Fellow in fiscal policy with the Independence Institute Joshua Sharf continues answering your questions regarding the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). PERA puts unneeded stress on the shoulders of teachers. Under PERA, the percentage of income that educators will receive for the rest of their lives upon retiring varies depending on the individual. Regardless, the amount is less than they would earn without PERA. PERA’s impacts and reach are highly nuanced. We should be wary of benefits such as PERA, which are considered contractual obligations. Listen in the first hour.

Interview with Yvonne Paez

Paez reflects on Ben Martin’s most recent segment covering Lincoln’s legacy. Paez is reminded of a letter that was supposedly written by Lincoln to his son’s teacher on his first day of school. In spite of Lincoln being unlikely to be the actual writer of the letter, Paez shares its contents, finding them meaningful and relevant to current affairs. Listen in the first hour.
