
Medal of Honor recipient and Co-Founder of the Center for American Values in Pueblo Drew Dix discusses the importance of Medal of Honor Day, which is March 25. Dix is a citizen of Pueblo who decided 13 years ago that the youth of Pueblo need inspiration and reminders that they have peers who are willing to make sacrifices for themselves and others, which lead to the founding of the Center for American Values. Four Medal of Honor recipients have grown up in Pueblo. A common trait among these citizens is that they had a respect for and saw incredible value in the people around them, which enabled them to make sacrifices for those people.
