Passio HR CEO Roger Hays addresses legislation that hurts the Colorado dream. The progressive arm of legislature is planning to go after unemployment insurance money as well as the unemployment trust fund. The unemployment trust fund is not meant for anyone else other than employees who have lost their jobs. This should not be disputed. There has been a strategic effort to put this money to improper uses. Legislators are effectively waging a way on business in Colorado by constantly introducing and amending bills that are inherently harmful to business practices. Small businesses are being targeted because it’s difficult for them to fight back due to high legal expenses. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.

Interview with Diane Ferraro

Diane Ferraro with Save the Storks discusses current abortion legislation. The final hearings are occurring for the recently mentioned three abortion bills (SB 23-188, 189, 190). Votes will proceed soon. Planned Parenthood should not be considered a nonprofit, seeing as it that it brings in millions of revenue from patient fees. Calling abortion family planning is disingenuous. 190 has intentionally misleading wording. In reality, it’s meant to restrict women’s options and agency over their own bodies. Abortion pills could cause potentially fatal hemorrhaging. Save the Storks aims to create hope and empowerment for women facing unplanned pregnancies. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
