Jarrett Skorup with the Mackinac Center discusses government broadband. Skroup is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Municipal broadband is broadband internet access owned by public entities.  Letting the government control internet access via municipal broadband entails a number of problematic potential outcomes, such as the creation of monopolies & stifling competition, the passage of unwanted regulations, and increased censorship.
