The Colorado state legislature is in session and the policy attack on small businesses is making it very difficult to start a business, run a business, and hire employees in Colorado. Bad policies are making it increasingly difficult for businesses in Colorado to operate. HB 23-1118 in particular punishes employers. The passage of the Family Leave Act is encouraging more bills to be created that harm businesses and employers. Minimum wage should be abolished for the good of everyone. Bureaucrats are taking away rights and decreasing the quality of life through bills that claim to do the opposite. Young people need to be taught to value work.
