Jay Davidson, Founder and CEO of First American State Bank, explains that the secret to American freedom and prosperity is the sovereignty of the individual. Conservatives have been asleep at the wheel for a long time, but recent developments in political affairs are calling them to action. The federal government should be kept out of private business. The World Economic Forum could realistically use hyperinflation to force their visions into reality. The best way to stop inflation is by stopping government spending. Increasing taxes now amid the current state of hyperinflation is cruel and careless. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.

Interview with the President of the Douglas County School Board

Douglas County School Board President Mike Peterson addresses my arguments against property tax increase ballot questions 5A and 5B. The proposed mill levy override would entail a fixed increase of $60M for the school district. School Finance Act of 1994 prevents Douglas County Schools from receiving more money than local districts, and vice versa. Peterson outlines numerous ways in which Douglas County School District is currently disadvantaged – for example, being ~$5k under the state average for starting teacher pay. The MLO would indeed increase property taxes, but not so dramatically as other narratives are trying to claim. The more taxpayers there are, the less individual taxpayers will have to pay. One of the goals of  the MLO is that it will boost infrastructure for the schools in the district, which would hopefully entail more taxpayers.
