Founder and CEO of First American State Bank Jay Davidson joins Kim to break down the Silicon Valley Bank failure. The banks that have recently failed (ie Silicon Valley Bank) act more like venture capitalists than traditional community banks. Traditional banks aren’t under any known threats. The banks that have recently failed (ie Silicon Valley Bank) act more like venture capitalists than traditional community banks. Traditional banks aren’t under any known threats. Silicon Valley Bank had increased deposits by 100 billion in a year with no advising by regulators. The government will be bailing out investors, which will in turn be paid by taxpayers. ESG ratings are being used to push regulations, which will cause companies to adopt increasingly progressive ideologies, which will result in further failures. Trent Loos on Trail Derailments

Sixth generation farmer and rancher Trent Loos comments on recent train derailments. In 1883, the railroad industry designated official regional timezones, which were signed into law in 1918 by Congress. Daylight Savings was very briefly adopted in some areas and then promptly abandoned. In 1966 the Uniform Time Act was introduced, which standardized Daylight Savings. More train derailments have been observed recently. Apparently, 4000 train derailment incidents occur each year in the US, though the government reports these numbers are now down to 1000 in spite of major train derailments appearing to be increasing.
