Money Should Follow the Child, Not the School

Christian Home Educators of Colorado Director of Government Relations Carolyn Martin explains why she has concerns about the conventional wisdom that “government dollars should follow the child.” The curriculum in many schools has been hijacked by leftist ideas. More and more people are homeschooling in response. Money should follow the child, not the school. An amendment has been raised by various private schools in Colorado that would advocate for school choice, though it failed to pass.

It’s more clear than ever that government-run schools don’t have kids’ best interests in mind. Social-emotional learning is a means of collecting info on children. Government schools want to create global citizens. High property taxes are yet another step towards America becoming Marxist. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
