Bullying the United States Supreme Court
Professor Rob Natelson is a constitutional expert. He’s a prominent and well-known constitutional scholar and author. His research has been cited “repeatedly at the U.S. Supreme Court, federal appeals courts, and state supreme courts—both by parties and by U.S. and state Supreme Court justices and by federal appellate judges.”
Last week, five U.S. Senators-Sheldon Whitehouse, Richard Blumenthal, Mazie Hirono, Richard Durbin, and Kirsten Gillibrand (also running for president on the Democrat ticket) threatened the Supreme Court that if the Justices do not refuse to hear a specific case, said senators will agitate the mainstream media to work up the vocal public minority with demands to “restructure the court.” What does this mean?
