Colorado’s Secretary of State sought approval and editing from Planned Parenthood on controversial press release
Novice Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold clumsily executed some political theatre last week when she announced to the world that Colorado officials would be boycotting Alabama in response to Alabama’s hard-line anti-abortion legislation. The outside world did not know it at the time, but the press release was approved and signed off on by Planned Parenthood before it was released.
Conservatives reacted with frustration but ultimately moved on…except for several office members who felt that the influence of Planned Parenthood in the affair was unethical and a violation of the office. Former Deputy Secretary of State Suzanne Staiert—a very vocal critic of Griswold—unearthed the emails after making an open records request.
Kim discusses the alarming fact that liberal and socialist special interests seem to be pulling the strings of the newly-installed Democrats who have taken over Colorado’s government.
The Left’s acceptance of pedophilia
Academic and author Steven Kessler joins Kim as today’s featured guest. Kessler and Kim discuss Kessler’s article “Roots of the Left’s Acceptance of Pedophilia,” which can be found on the conservative publication, American Thinker. How does the liberal attitude of tolerance towards pedophilia color HB19-1032? Or Governor Polis’s campaign promise of all-day kindergarten? Kim and Steven discuss this difficult topic in the last half of the show.
