Sgt. Bill Galbraith, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne, jumped into Normandy France on D-Day, June 4, 1944. He said that he could walk down on the German’s tracers. Like so many paratroopers, Bill was dropped far away from his target. It took him several days to meet up with what was left of his battalion. Bill also jumped into the Netherlands at the Battle of Market Garden. You’ll smile as Bill shares his story of how he met his wife.
