A Message from Kim Monson

Kim Monson

This Voter's Guide is written for "We the People" of Colorado. The Colorado that we love is awash in overspending, high taxes, high fees, crime, government-induced inflation and special interest agendas. Everyday, hard-working Coloradans just want to live their lives, do their jobs, grow their businesses, hang out with family and friends, and pursue their hopes and dreams. By becoming informed voters this 2026 election cycle, we can begin to reclaim our beautiful state.

The team at The Kim Monson Show has analyzed these issues through the lens of freedom for individuals vs. force of government. Each election cycle, we are presented with ballot questions that may sound compassionate or address issues that we care about. The narratives of "for the children," "roads and bridges," "wildfires," "fire departments," "reducing road congestion," etc. are actually covers for PBIs (Politicians, Bureaucrats and Interested Parties) to take more of our money and more of our liberty to create more cronyist bureaucracies that are run by bureaucrats who are unelected and unaccountable to "We the People." To stop this and reclaim Colorado, we each have a civic duty to be an "informed voter," not an "influenced voter." If individuals do not take the time to become informed voters, they have the civic duty to not vote. This guide has been created so that you can become an informed voter.

Included in this Voter's Guide is an analysis of the 14 statewide questions as well as analysis of the county, municipal and school district questions. We are providing information for each statewide and federal candidate as well as information on each judge who is up for retention.

I realize that we may disagree on different issues. That's okay. My hope is that this is a tool for you to make rational, reasoned and wise decisions as you complete your ballot.

Yours for Liberty and Human Flourishing!
