The ballot question
WITHOUT RAISING ANY ADDITIONAL TAXES AND TO CONTINUE FUNDING FOR: • WILDFIRE PREVENTION; • MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES, AND SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAMS FOR SUMMIT COUNTY YOUTH AND ADULTS; • AFFORDABLE EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND LEARNING FOR SUMMIT COUNTY FAMILIES AND WORKERS; • IMPROVING PUBLIC BUILDINGS/COMMUNITY FACILITIES AND EXTENDING THEIR USEFUL LIFE; AND • SUSTAINING RECYCLING AND WASTE DIVERSION PROGRAMS, SHALL SUMMIT COUNTY BE AUTHORIZED TO CONTINUE TO COLLECT AND EXPEND REVENUES PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY SUMMIT COUNTY VOTERS IN 2018 BY SUMMIT COUNTY REFERRED MEASURE 1A BY THE ONGOING EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING FOUR AND SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO THOUSANDTHS MILL LEVY PROPERTY TAX COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2028, AND CONTINUING THEREAFTER AS A VOTER-APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE, WITHOUT LIMITATION OR CONDITION UNDER ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION OR ANY OTHER LAW, WITH ALL EXPENDITURES MADE IN CONSIDERATION OF INDEPENDENT CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUBJECT TO ANNUAL INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL AUDIT?
