The ballot question
WITHOUT IMPOSING A NEW TAX, SHALL WESTMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS BE AUTHORIZED TO COLLECT THE FULL AMOUNT OF REVENUES PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE VOTERS IN 1988, 2002 AND 2018 PURSUANT TO SECTION 22-54-108, C.R.S. SUBJECT TO THE LIMIT ESTABLISHED FOR THE DISTRICT BY SECTION 22-54-108(3)(B)(VI), C.R.S., TO FUND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE DISTRICT AS AUTHORIZED AT THE PRIOR ELECTIONS, INCLUDING: IMPROVING SAFETY AND SECURITY; EXPANDING CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) PROGRAMS; ATTRACTING AND RETAINING EFFECTIVE TEACHERS; AND IMPROVING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF ALL STUDENTS; WHICH TAXES SHALL BE DEPOSITED INTO THE GENERAL FUND AND SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO THE PROPERTY TAXES THAT OTHERWISE WOULD BE LEVIED FOR THE GENERAL FUND; AND SHALL INVESTMENT EARNINGS ON THE PROCEEDS OF SUCH TAXES BE COLLECTED, RETAINED AND EXPENDED BY THE DISTRICT WITHOUT LIMITATION UNDER ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION OR ANY OTHER LAW?
