Light a Candle for Her, Girls is the original collection of #CowBios, the viral social media phenomenon that captured the hearts of women across the agriculture community and beyond. Despite the name, #CowBios have little to do with cows – they are snapshots of women that are relatable, funny, and prove that women are all just doing their best.

The #CowBios began when author Rachel Gabel snapped a photo of a goat with an underbite while kidding goats on a cold night. With the portrait setting on, the goat looked downright glamorous, so Gabel wrote a little vignette to accompany it. The concept went viral, spawning a community of women sharing their own humorous biographical vignettes.
