Deb Flora is a conservative activist, radio host, documentary producer, and political candidate based in Parker, Colorado. She hosts The Deborah Flora Show on Salem Radio Network's 710 KNUS, focusing on parental rights, educational freedom, and conservative principles.
Born in Izmir, Turkey as the daughter of a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Flora grew up in Colorado and attended Southern Methodist University as a President's Scholar and National Merit Scholar, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the theater program. She later studied at Austria's Mozarteum University Salzburg. In her mid-20s, she won the title of Miss Colorado and was second runner-up in the 1990 Miss America pageant.
Flora has built a multifaceted career in media and entertainment. She is a founding partner of Lamplight Entertainment and Whetstone Media Group, producing acclaimed documentaries including 'Whose Children Are They?' which exposed ideological indoctrination in public schools and screened nationwide. The documentary features teachers, parents, and education experts discussing teachers union influence and curriculum concerns.
As founder of Parents United America, Flora has become a nationally recognized advocate for parental involvement in education. She has testified before legislative bodies on education policy issues and has been featured on Fox News, Newsmax, Townhall, and The Daily Wire.
Flora serves on the Leadership Program of the Rockies Advisory Council and is a board member for ACE Scholarships and the Colorado Parent Advocacy Network. She is a Club for Growth Fellow and member of the American Enterprise Leadership Network.
She ran for U.S. Senate in 2022 to challenge Michael Bennet and for U.S. Congress in Colorado's 4th District in 2024. In 2026, she is again running for U.S. Senate against Senator Bennet.
