Josh Lallement is the former President of Liberty Toastmasters Denver, a public speaking club that focuses on liberty principles and constitutional education. The club meets on the first and third Saturdays at the Independence Institute in Denver. Lallement served as President through 2023 before transitioning to his current status as a member and past leader of the organization.
Lallement joined Liberty Toastmasters in 2019 as a first-year member seeking to develop his communication and listening skills. He quickly became engaged in the club's mission to combine public speaking development with civic education on constitutional and liberty-oriented topics. Through Toastmasters, he developed both his speaking abilities and his philosophical grounding in free market economics and individual rights.
Active in the Libertarian Party of Colorado, Lallement has attended state and national conventions and served on the state board. In 2022, he ran as the Libertarian candidate for Arapahoe County Assessor, focusing his campaign on concerns about property tax reassessments that could raise taxes by 40-50 percent. His campaign emphasized that capitalism is the only moral socio-economic system and criticized government-created monopolies.
Lallement has been a regular guest on the Kim Monson Show since 2019, appearing ten times to discuss topics including individual rights, free speech, political discourse, taxation philosophy, and the importance of studying America's founding history. His appearances often feature philosophical examinations of evidence, truth, and the foundations of liberty. He has also served as an in-studio guest host on at least one occasion.
