Susan Beckman is a former Colorado State Representative who represented House District 38, serving the communities of Littleton and Centennial. She resigned from the Colorado General Assembly to accept a position in the Trump Administration.
During her time in the legislature, Beckman was an active voice on key conservative priorities including oil and gas regulation, TABOR protections, parental rights, election integrity, and health freedom issues. In the 2019 legislative session, she reported on SB 181's impact on Colorado's energy industry, HB 1257's attack on TABOR, vaccination legislation, automatic voter registration, healthcare policy, and energy mandates.
Beckman ran for Colorado GOP Chair in 2019 on a platform of grassroots organizing but lost the race. Despite that setback, she continued her work in the legislature before departing for the federal government.
Prior to her state legislative service, Beckman served on the Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners until 2013, giving her experience at both the county and state levels of government before moving to the federal level.
