Task Force Freedom focuses on parental rights in education, particularly challenging inappropriate materials in school libraries and ideological curricula in Colorado school districts. Since its founding, the organization has spent years investigating and documenting concerning content in northern Colorado schools, including Greeley Evans School District 6 and other districts. Cain's work has exposed pornographic materials in school libraries, critical race theory curriculum, and policies that restrict parental involvement in their children's education.
Cain has been particularly vocal about policies that bypass parental consent, including school-based health clinics and curriculum decisions made without parental input. He has connected these local issues to what he describes as broader ideological movements infiltrating public education, advocating for parents to actively engage with school boards and educational policy.
A frequent guest on The Kim Monson Show since 2022, Cain has discussed topics including fighting CRT in Colorado schools, inappropriate library materials, Amendment 80's implications for parental authority, and strategies for parents to protect their children from what he characterizes as ideological indoctrination.
