Fred Clifford is an active member of Liberty Toastmasters Denver and the Golden Optimist Club. He regularly speaks on topics related to faith, liberty, civic engagement, and the philosophical foundations of freedom in America.

In 2022, Clifford ran for Colorado House District 32 but was unsuccessful in his bid for office. Despite the electoral loss, he continues to encourage citizens to participate in the political process, noting that many successful politicians lost their first races.

Through his participation in Liberty Toastmasters, Clifford has developed speeches exploring the relationship between natural rights, government, and individual liberty. He has addressed topics including the purpose of government in securing God-given rights, the connection between faith and freedom, and the importance of citizens stepping up to run for office.

Clifford draws on his personal experiences and faith journey to share messages of gratitude and spiritual reflection. In one appearance, he shared a near-fatal car accident from the 1970s that taught him profound appreciation for life and strengthened his faith.

He has appeared on the Kim Monson Show multiple times since 2024 as part of the Liberty Toastmasters segments.
