Marshall Dawson is the President of Liberty Toastmasters Denver, a club that meets at the Independence Institute and focuses on developing communication skills through the lens of liberty and founding principles. A computer professional by background, Dawson is based in Longmont, Colorado, in Boulder County.

Dawson has twice run for U.S. Congress in Colorado's 2nd Congressional District as a Republican, campaigning in both 2022 and 2024. His campaigns emphasized constitutional adherence, property rights, limited government, and local control of natural resources. Though unsuccessful in his bids, he remains active in civic engagement and political education.

A dedicated student of the Federalist Papers and America's founding documents, Dawson frequently discusses the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights on the show. He is known for his philosophical approach to topics like property rights, natural rights, and the proper limits of government power. He has traced the etymology of capitalism to the Latin word 'caput' (head or mind) to explain how the system liberates human creativity.

Dawson served as President of Liberty Toastmasters North before transitioning to lead Liberty Toastmasters Denver. He has served as in-studio co-host for the Kim Monson Show on multiple occasions, particularly during Liberty Toastmasters Day broadcasts, and has filled in as guest host when Kim was absent.

One of the most frequent guests on the Kim Monson Show, Dawson has appeared over 40 times since 2020, discussing topics including constitutional principles, property rights, emergency powers, election integrity, and civic engagement.
