Gauri Seshadri serves as First Vice President of Toastmasters International for the 2025-2026 program year, having advanced from Second Vice President at the 2025 International Convention. She is the first Indian woman elected to the Toastmasters board.
By profession Gauri is a director at Gentle Bamboo Solutions in Bengaluru, one of India’s pioneer game-based learning companies, and the founder of Sesh Consultants. She holds an M.S. in chemical engineering with a specialization in air pollution from the University of Utah, where she studied before beginning her career as an environmental consultant in Littleton, Colorado.
It was during that first job in Colorado that Gauri joined Littleton Toastmasters, the club she credits with giving her the confidence to make business presentations she had previously declined. She continues as a member of the WeSpeak Toastmasters Club in Bengaluru and travels internationally to advance the program, returning frequently to the United States.
Gauri describes her Toastmasters arc as a transformation from social shyness to the global board, summed up in the line she shared on the Kim Monson Show: “Facts tell and stories sell.”
