Keith Renninson is a Vietnam War veteran, professional keynote speaker, author, and retired Certified Financial Planner from Littleton, Colorado. After serving two years in the Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam, he built a career in financial planning before transitioning to speaking and writing about personal development and resilience.

A Colorado native who attended Douglas County High School, Arapahoe Community College, Metropolitan State University, and the College for Financial Planning, Renninson earned his CFP designation in 1989 and retired from financial planning in 2001. He served as President of his local NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) chapter from 1995 to 1999.

Renninson developed the TRIP Technique, a proprietary program for evaluating and building Tenacity, Resilience, Imagination, and Purpose. The methodology was inspired in part by his experiences being lost in the Himalayas during travels to Nepal in the 1990s. His award-winning book 'Tenacity: You Don't Have to Get Lost in Nepal to Find Yourself, But it Helps!' tells this story and shares his philosophy of never wasting time.

An accomplished athlete in retirement, Renninson began racing bicycles at age 54 and became President of the Colorado Bicycle Racing Association for Seniors (COBRAS) in 2011. He joined the National Speakers Association Colorado Chapter in 2016, won Member of the Year in 2017, and served on the NSA-Colorado Board. His other books include 'The Pain and Joy of Love: A Collection of Black & White Photography, Short Stories, and Poetry' and the illustrated children's book 'Zooch the Pooch, My Best Friend.'

On the Kim Monson Show, Renninson has discussed his TRIP assessment system for addressing the employee retention crisis and strengthening relationships through character development.
