Bob Boswell is the Chairman and CEO of Laramie Energy, an independent oil and gas company operating in Colorado's Piceance Basin on the Western Slope. He also serves as CEO of Karis Oil and Gas. Under his leadership, Laramie Energy has been a significant natural gas producer in Colorado while navigating an increasingly challenging regulatory environment.

Boswell is a recognized expert on energy policy, having provided extensive commentary on oil and gas development, renewable energy economics, climate regulation, and the impact of government energy mandates on consumers and producers alike. He has been particularly vocal about Colorado's regulatory approach to the energy industry, including SB 181, enterprise fees that circumvent TABOR, and methane emission regulations.

A strong advocate for American energy independence and affordable, reliable energy, Boswell has analyzed the failures of climate-driven policies that he argues have increased energy costs, threatened food security through fertilizer production impacts, and undermined domestic production while enriching foreign adversaries. He has provided detailed analysis of the Biden administration's energy policies and their effects on domestic production.

Boswell has been a regular monthly guest on the Kim Monson Show since October 2020, appearing nearly 40 times to discuss energy markets, Colorado regulations, federal energy policy, and the economic implications of climate mandates. His segment was formerly known as "Health and Hydrocarbons." Laramie Energy is a gold sponsor of the Kim Monson Show.

His expertise areas include natural gas markets, oil and gas development, energy regulation, climate policy economics, TABOR and enterprise fees, and the relationship between energy policy and national security.
