John Fabbricatore is a retired federal law enforcement officer with over 30 years of government service, including more than 24 years with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its predecessor, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). He served as Field Office Director for ICE's Denver office from 2017 to 2020, overseeing immigration enforcement operations for Colorado and Wyoming as a member of the Senior Executive Service.
Before his career in immigration enforcement, Fabbricatore served in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1995 as a Security Forces member, receiving an honorable discharge. Born and raised in New York, he has worked in Colorado since 1998 and lived in Aurora for most of his law enforcement career.
Fabbricatore has established himself as a recognized expert on immigration enforcement and border security policy. He has testified before Congress on immigration enforcement and sanctuary city policies, and served as a Visiting Fellow at the Heritage Foundation's Border Security and Immigration Center. His expertise covers interior immigration enforcement, sanctuary policies, gang activity related to open borders, and the fentanyl crisis.
In 2024, Fabbricatore ran as the Republican candidate for Colorado's 6th Congressional District. His campaign focused on border security, public safety, and the impact of sanctuary state policies on communities. He highlighted the rapid expansion of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and connected rising crime to open border policies.
Fabbricatore has appeared on the Kim Monson Show to discuss border security, the Tren de Aragua gang threat, and immigration enforcement challenges facing Colorado communities.
