Author Helen Raleigh joins Kim to discuss her latest essay, Barbie Gets a Lesson in Geopolitics. In the recently released Barbie movie, there was a map featured that depicted a contentious claim by China over a specific portion of international waters. Some critics view this inclusion as a subtle indication of Hollywood’s pro-Chinese bias. Concerns have been raised about China’s pro-communist agenda influencing various aspects of our daily lives, and many argue that such influences should be resisted.

Interview with Trent Loos

Sixth generation farmer and rancher Trent Loos notes the latest regarding public policy issues that will limit our food supply and access to reliable, efficient, affordable, and abundant power sources. In his analysis, Loos delves into the profound importance of cows and beef in American culture. He highlights how cows have played a pivotal role as a primary source of sustenance since the early settlement days, and have been esteemed for their dependability and the diverse range of products they provide. Similar to cows, cowboys hold immense significance in American culture, symbolizing the essence of American grit and spirit. The association between the West and cowboys has endured for good reason, as they epitomize the adventurous and resilient spirit of the frontier. Even in contemporary times, cowboys continue to retain their relevance due to their strong work ethic, exemplifying the courage to persevere through adversity.

Monument Academy Update

Ryan Graham of Monument Academy joins Kim to discuss current events. On June 27th, Monument Academy conducted a town hall meeting that drew an audience of around 300 attendees. During the meeting, a significant resolution was put forward and subsequently approved unanimously. The resolution firmly expressed Monument Academy’s opposition to the bills S.B. 08-200 and H.B. 21-1108, citing concerns related to the privacy and protection of its students. It is noteworthy that Monument Academy is currently open for enrollment, with the exception of its elementary campus, which has a waitlist in place for prospective students.
