Producer Steve is retiring. We have been together for a long time and he will be missed. Producer Steve shares stories from his military career, his corporate career, and things he’ll remember as the producer of The Kim Monson Show. Steve’s journey as a producer is marked by a diverse set of experiences and a determination to follow his passion. Hailing from Pennsylvania, he initially set out to become an electrician, embarking on a journey that took him from Pennsylvania to Mississippi, then Germany, and ultimately to Colorado. In his early twenties, Steve found himself working for United Airlines, a career that spanned an impressive two decades. However, in 2008, his interest in broadcasting began to take shape, leading him down a new path. By 2014, Steve had joined the ranks at Crawford, where he honed his skills in the field of broadcasting. It’s worth noting that in his broadcasting classes, Steve found himself among the more senior participants, a circumstance that he welcomed as it offered him a unique perspective and the opportunity to collaborate with younger students, further enriching his professional journey. Interview with Paige Agostin

Paige Agostin joins Kim to discuss The Center for Renewing America’s budget framework. The Center for Renewing America has put forth a budget framework aimed at curbing what it perceives as superfluous expenditures linked to progressive initiatives, offering a potential solution for Congress. Rather than a prudent reevaluation of fiscal practices, the Biden Administration, in its actions, continues to allocate funds to fuel cultural disputes. This unrestrained and ill-considered spending represents another facet of government overreach. Interestingly, there appears to be a tendency on McCarthy’s part to lean towards collaboration with Democrats rather than staying aligned with the core conservative values. Agostin expresses frustration with McCarthy’s choices and the perceived hierarchy of priorities guiding his actions.
