To counter this sentiment, Powell emphasizes the potency of free speech and open discourse as avenues for resolving many of these challenges. He believes that the ability to engage in these practices is inherent in every individual. However, he highlights a concern – the elites’ apparent desire to curtail free speech and constructive debate, aiming to cultivate fear and a sense of entrapment among the populace. Powell also draws attention to the limited awareness among most people regarding the extent of the World Economic Forum’s initiatives. He posits that the revitalization of America hinges on a process of rediscovery, specifically a renewed recognition of the significance of free speech as a pivotal force for positive change.
