Interview with Producer Luke
Producer Luke Cashman shares what is on the radar of young Americans. Luke holds the perspective that both Palestine and Israel bear responsibility for the ongoing conflict. He attributes the conflict’s instigation to Hamas while also deeming Israel’s defensive actions as excessive. In Luke’s view, the desire for a clear “good guy” to support in the conflict is unrealistic, as both sides are involved in actions that cannot be justified. Similarly, Luke sees the Ukraine-Russia territorial conflict in a similar light, acknowledging that both parties have committed atrocities. However, he believes that Ukraine garners more support due to being perceived as the lesser of two evils. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
