Ascent Classical Academy asked to leave Douglas County School District over the decision to arm staff in an effort to protect the school, staff, and students

Derec Schuler of Ascent Classical Academy joins Kim and Roger Bianco to discuss the Douglas County School District’s request that Ascent leave the school district over their decision to arm select school staff. According to a poll of Ascent Classical Academy parents, 90% of parents support arming school staff to protect their children. Schuler explains the decision to arm the staff, how training has been handled, and the next steps for the Academy.
