Lauren Fix from Car Coach Reports comments  on the recent reversal of Germany’s leading automotive analyst, a former proponent of e-Mobility, who now asserts, “That’s it for the EVs in Germany; it’s good if you haven’t written off the combustion engines, I was entirely wrong on the fatherland. that several German auto manufacturers are advising their customers to hold onto their combustion engine vehicles, citing significant flaws in electric vehicles. This advice comes amidst a notable trend where many electric vehicle models, including those from Tesla, are experiencing a lack of demand. In light of these developments, there is a growing sentiment that voters should oppose electric vehicle initiatives in the upcoming year’s election. Additionally, the auto killswitch mandate, which is scheduled to be implemented in 2026, is facing scrutiny, indicating that there might still be time to reverse this decision. Interview with Andrew Arthur

Center for Immigration Studies Senior Fellow Andrew Authur shares updates on immigration and our border. Sanctuary cities are currently facing challenges due to the influx of immigrants, a situation that is likely to escalate if immigration remains unregulated. There are concerns about the exploitation of illegal immigrants, who often find themselves in vulnerable positions, with employers taking advantage of them without facing any repercussions. This situation not only leads to a form of modern-day slavery but also contributes to the displacement of citizens in the job market. Meanwhile, the Biden administration holds the view that existing immigration laws are antiquated and unjust, a stance that has led to the allowance of a significant increase in illegal immigration. Kim Monson's Quote of the Day:
January 11, 2024

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill, a central figure in 20th-century history, was born on November 30, 1874, into an aristocratic family. He is best known for his indomitable spirit as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War II. His leadership was pivotal from 1940 to 1945 and again in his second term from 1951 to 1955. Churchill’s early career in the British Army and as a war correspondent offered him insights that he later used in his political life. He first entered Parliament in 1900, displaying a dynamic career across various government roles.

Churchill’s tenure as Prime Minister during WWII was marked by his extraordinary oratory skills, exemplified in speeches like “We shall fight on the beaches,” which bolstered British morale. Despite losing the 1945 election, he was revered for his wartime leadership and returned to power in 1951. A Nobel Prize laureate in Literature (1953) for his writings and speeches, Churchill was also noted for his historical works. He passed away on January 24, 1965, leaving a legacy as a symbol of resistance against tyranny and a master of political strategy.
