Yvonne Paez joins Kim and Trent for a super interesting discussion regarding animals and animal names. In her discussion, Paez highlights the significance of community, delving into the interplay between liberty and community dynamics, and addressing the pitfalls of selfishness. Concurrently, Loos explores the role of genetics in various contexts, ranging from animal breeding to the comprehension of infectious diseases. He also raises concerns about the risks associated with sharing one’s DNA with companies akin to 23andme, though he stops short of naming any specific entity. Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais, born on June 25, 1961, in Reading, England, is a renowned comedian, actor, writer, and director. He first gained significant attention with the television mockumentary series “The Office,” which he co-created, wrote, and starred in as the awkward office manager David Brent. The show, debuting in the UK in 2001, was a critical and commercial success, leading to a popular American adaptation. Gervais’s distinct style of cringe comedy, characterized by his portrayal of delusional and often socially inept characters, became a hallmark of his work.

Following “The Office,” Gervais co-created and starred in “Extras” (2005-2007), a series about film extras, further cementing his status in comedy. He has also enjoyed a successful stand-up career, known for his controversial and dark humor. His other notable works include the comedy-drama series “Derek” and the Netflix series “After Life.” Gervais has won numerous awards, including Golden Globes and BAFTAs, and is known for his atheism and advocacy for animal rights.
