Founder of Power the Future, Daniel Turner, explains that since the mid-terms, Joe Biden and the radical, activist Democrats who have taken over the Democrat party have been in a mad rush to complete their war on American Energy. Turning away from traditional energy sources like oil, gas, and coal, with the aim of reducing reliance on them, inadvertently leads to higher costs for various products, notably food, due to the increased energy expenses. This shift highlights an underlying hypocrisy in climate and energy policies. A prime example of this was during the COP28 climate summit in Dubai, where numerous politicians arrived by airplane, ironically contributing to the gas emissions the summit sought to reduce. This event, which took place from November 30th to December 12th, culminated in a significant agreement among major global nations to gradually eliminate fossil fuel use.

Interview with Trent Loos

Sixth-generation farmer and rancher Trent Loos discusses the reintroduction of gray wolves in Colorado. The impending reintroduction of gray wolves to Colorado, specifically to the region west of the continental divide, has triggered a lawsuit from the state’s cattle industry against state and federal agencies. This legal action stems from concerns within the industry that the presence of wolves poses a threat to cattle. Initially, ten wolves are set to be released by the end of December, with plans to increase this number to a total of 50 over time. The reintroduction of these wolves is expected to have adverse effects on the livelihoods of cattle farmers and could potentially impact the food supply.

Kim Monson's Quote of the Day:
December 13, 2023

She stood in the storm. And when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails.

Elizabeth Edwards

Elizabeth Edwards, born Mary Elizabeth Anania Edwards on July 3, 1949, was an American attorney, author, and health care activist. Raised as the daughter of a U.S. Navy pilot, she spent her childhood and adolescence in Japan. Edwards gained prominence as the wife of John Edwards, a former U.S. Senator from North Carolina and the 2004 Democratic vice-presidential nominee.

Her life was marked by both professional achievements and personal tragedies. As an accomplished lawyer and author, she used her platform to advocate for health care issues, drawing from her own experiences with stage 4 breast cancer. Edwards’ battle with this illness ended on December 7, 2010, when she succumbed to the disease at the age of 61.

Elizabeth Edwards also endured profound personal hardships with remarkable composure. The most notable of these was the tragic death of her son Wade in a car accident in 1996, when he was just 16 years old. This tragedy occurred a year before her husband John Edwards entered the political arena, winning a seat in the U.S. Senate in 1998.

Throughout her life, Elizabeth Edwards exemplified resilience in the face of adversity, both in her public role as a health advocate and in her private struggles.
