The Pro-Choice Viable Life Initiative/Act

In Kamala Harris’ speech declaring her candidacy for President she asked the questions, “Who are we? Who are we as Americans?” I totally agree with her. It is time to do a gut check regarding who we are as Americans. Are we a society who values life, creativity and opportunity for all? Or are we a society which promotes death, destruction and division?

New York’s celebration in passing legislation that allows abortions right up to the day of birth makes reasonable Americans stop, squirm and reassess the abortion narrative.

Rev. Dr. Clenard H. Childress Jr., Founder of Black Genocide, notes that 78% of abortion clinics are located in minority communities. Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions in America.

Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam recently commented, on a local radio program, regarding “abortion” after delivery. Gov. Northam says, “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.” What’s up for discussion? Life or death of the infant?

This is where we ask ourselves, are we a society, promoting life for babies or promoting and paying for his or her death? Because of these eye-opening revelations, a recent Marist poll shows a substantial double-digit shift, 17 points, of Americans who identify as pro-life instead of pro-choice. So, who are we? Are we a society that promotes life or a society that promotes death?

Per their 2017-2018 annual report, the largest abortion provider in America (332,757) noted that almost 40% of revenues, (over a half $Billion) is funded by government reimbursements and grants. While supporters of this abortion provider opine that government money is used only for other women’s health services, let’s be honest with ourselves, government money is fungible. It is time redirect this $563,800,000 to fund the Pro-Choice Viable Life Initiative/Act.
