This approach proved to be especially beneficial for Strachan’s special needs child, showcasing homeschooling as an adaptable and effective solution for meeting individual learning needs.

Interview with Kevin Lundberg

Former state senator Kevin Lundberg explains that the inevitable list of really bad bills is growing at a very fast pace. So far, 621 bills have been introduced at the 2024 Colorado state legislature. HB 24-1229, which would extend long-term care benefits to illegal immigrants, has successfully passed the House. Meanwhile, the Claremont Institute continues its efforts against open primaries and is still accepting donations. This weekend, Pueblo will host the Republican State Assembly, an event that convenes biennially. This year’s Assembly is expected to be particularly bustling, with a lineup of activities planned, including the selection of delegates who will represent at the National Assembly.

Kim Monson's Quote of the Day:
April 2, 2024

The emancipation of woman will only be possible when woman can take part in production on a large, social scale, and domestic work no longer claims anything but an insignificant amount of her time.

Friedrich Engels, born in 1820 in Barmen, Prussia, was a German philosopher, social scientist, and businessman who became a significant figure in the socialist movement through his collaboration with Karl Marx. Engels’ contributions were pivotal in the development of Marxist theory, most notably co-authoring “The Communist Manifesto” in 1848, which laid the groundwork for the modern socialist movement by advocating for the overthrow of capitalist systems and the establishment of a classless society. His work, “The Condition of the Working Class in England” (1845), based on his observations in Manchester, highlighted the dire conditions of the industrial proletariat, influencing social reform and socialist theory. Engels supported Marx financially, allowing him to focus on his economic studies, which culminated in “Das Kapital”. Engels’ theoretical and practical contributions, including editing and organizing Marx’s notes into later volumes of “Das Kapital” after Marx’s death, cemented their legacy as architects of communist ideology. Engels died in London in 1895.
