Former candidate for Douglas County Sheriff John Anderson explains how we can constitutionally address dangerous individuals without harming due process. There are good intentions behind Colorado’s red flag law, but in execution, it’s a violation of 2nd amendment rights. The due process of the red flag law is extremely weak. We already have solutions that are more effective at addressing problems that the red flag law is meant to combat. M-1 holds are one such solution, which can restrict an individual’s actions if they’re deemed not mentally stable. M-1 holds aren’t perfect, but they do not egregiously violate the 2nd amendment. Interview with Phil Kerpen

President of American Commitment Phil Kerpen discusses Biden’s student loan bailout. Biden’s plans to address student loans are poorly designed. Ultimately, they would solve nothing and create further problems. Bankruptcy laws should be reformed rather than student loan debts being waived. Biden’s plans to give $10-20,000 to ~40 million people would require the other 290 million people to pay for those expenditures. This is not only unfair to those who haven’t went to college or who paid off their debts, but will also cause inflation. College tuition has gone up significantly in the past decade due to government subsidization, per Obamacare. Reformation of bankruptcy is key to solving the student debt problem. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
