State Senator Jerry Sonnenberg joins Kim to discuss property rights, food security, and national security. Sonnenberg has serious concerns about the trend of the world’s elite to buy farmland. Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, is now the largest farmland owner in America. Foreign entities are purchasing large amounts of American farmland. In a time of crisis, the populace and the government are beholden to those who control the food supply. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.

Interview with Theresa Watson, Boulder County GOP

Theresa Watson of the Boulder County GOP joins Kim to discuss the importance of election integrity. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.

Jenna Bacon on Douglas County Zoning Issues

Jenna Bacon joins Kim to discuss how current Douglas County codes impact small business owners with home-based businesses. There is a zoning issue in Douglas County that impacts the property rights of small business owners. Home-based business owners in unincorporated Douglas County must apply for a special permit to use accessory buildings. The way the code is written now, it prevents many people who work from home (instead of working AT home) not to use their accessory structures. The intention is to keep large equipment and structures from being housed on residential property. There is a meeting on the zoning question on August 23rd at the Douglas County Commission meeting. This issue impacts hundreds of small business owners. Go here for more information on attending the meeting. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.
