Concerned citizens Ted Mische and Guiliana Day explain the declining role of churches in America. Day is an anti-abortion activist who seeks to spread the heartbreaking truths of abortion. Mische has worked with Day for many years. Mische discusses the story of the Black-Robed Regiment, the clergymen who supported American independence through the struggle against Britain, as an example of churches doing good in the history of America.

Churches are often hesitant to talk about political issues because they’re tax exempt; discussing these issues may draw the attention of the IRS. Being afraid of God doesn’t necessarily entail literal fear – it could be worded alternatively as “acquiescing to his will”, understanding what God is and the role he plays in one’s life. Abortion is a critical extention of the topic of the protection of children. The legality of abortion is a threat to the safety of children. There’s been a dramatic drop in numbers of Christians in America in the past 20 years. Churches are losing influence due to their tendency to be politically passive. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.

Interview with Roni Bell Sylvester

Water policy expert Roni Bell Sylvester joins Kim to discuss water and property rights in the West. Sylvester is a longtime activist who specializes in property rights. Private property is foundational to the American idea. Overtaxation is one of many means of the government taking property away. The targeting of farmers, ranchers, and oil & gas producers is yet another government ploy to control property. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.

Interview with Yvonne Paez

Yvonne Paez shares her thoughts regarding retired Navy Seal Commander Rorke Denver’s reflection about harmonic gait. Paez refers to the concept of finding one’s “harmonic gait”, originally shared by Navy SEAL Commander Rorke Denver. The concept comes from an anecdote where a young Denver encountered a cowboy who observed a coonhound that moved in unusual patterns. The idea of “harmonic gait” itself refers to finding harmony and grounding oneself amid times of turmoil. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.
