Izabela Patriota with Ladies of Liberty discusses the socialist roots of International Women’s Day. Women’s Day, viewed by Patriota as a feminist holiday with communist origins, is seen as a catalyst for her belief that there is a need to counteract the modern feminist movement. According to Patriota, contemporary feminism appears to challenge traditional masculinity and seems to dissuade women from embracing roles as mothers and wives. Having moved to the US from Brazil, her involvement with conservative think tanks has shaped her perspective on the significance of individual freedoms and responsibility. This experience has reinforced her stance on the perceived implications of modern feminism and the importance of pushing back against its influence. Listen to the full interview in the first hour.

Interview with Trent Loos

Trent Loos discusses the 2024 Super Bowl and renewable energy. The 2024 Super Bowl was ambitiously touted as the first event of its kind to operate entirely on renewable energy, a claim that faces scrutiny due to the present constraints of renewable energy technologies. It was purportedly supported by a 75-megawatt battery storage system, which was said to have the capacity to power the event’s facilities for up to 5 hours. However, such capabilities seem not only unrealistic but also financially impractical, as the operational costs would likely exceed those of traditional gas-powered energy sources. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
