Allen Thomas joins Kim in studio to discuss his latest essay, Why We Should Not Fear Fascists. Fascists are by definition, authoritarian. Fascists are commonly feared because they can exert absurd control over one’s lifestyle. They should not be feared because, in short, 1. they can be defeated and defied, and 2. the constitution prevents them from significantly impacting your life. Listen to the full interview in the first hour. Go here to read Thomas’s essay.

Interview with Col. Bill Rutledge (Ret. USAF)

Col. Bill Rutledge (Ret. USAF) shares stories of his remarkable teacher, Miss Ward. Miss Ward was brought in by a close friend of hers and started teaching starting in 1943, while there was a teacher shortage due to the war. Miss Ward was physically disabled but never let this get in the way of her teaching. Rutledge considers her the most influential teacher he’s ever experienced. Miss Ward sought perfection and allowed it to flourish in all of her students. Listen to the full interview in the second hour.
